"To All Those We Left Behind In America..."
is the "travel journal" we plan to use for this year's Holiday in Ireland.
So, WELCOME.
That's us in the photo above, Robert & Susan O'Keane, also known as "Bob & Sue" and "Rob & Sue."
Two farm kids who went into "teaching" careers, until they found their true calling in the careers of "retirement."
We are coming from rural "Wisconsin" in America's Heartland, about a hundred miles north of Chicago.

This "blog spot" is operated by the Google people and should have NO advertisements/pop-ups/etc.
In previous years, the emails with photo attachments that we sent to friends and relatives jammed a few email "in boxes" and perhaps brought some pain to people too kind to skip the excessive rambling and "way-too-many" photos.
With this "blog/journal," you only have to lose or forget this blog address to become free of watching two vacationers' never-ending slide show with rambling narrative.
Although this blog/journal creates a more simple format, it does not remove the problem that "some people can talk for hours until they can think of something to say."

(And, no, we will not consider changing the name of this Ireland Holiday Blog Site to "Blog on a Bog.")
Note: the most recent "blog posts" will be at the top of this blog site; the earlier or "bottom" posts will start with a 2008 itinerary, preceded by 2007 and 2006 Ireland holiday summaries.
And, as usual, our posts will be subject to internet access/availability on any given day or week.
